Todo Papel can be found at Avenida de la Constitución, 31, Cómpeta, just off the main car park in the centre of the village. The shop was opened in September 2005 and was originally a papelería/librería (newsagents) selling newspapers and magazines as well as books, greetings cards, stationery, gifts and souvenirs.  Over the years as technology has changed the way people now get their news, on their mobile devices through news apps, Twitter etc., newspaper and magazine sales declined over the years. An unfortunate consequence of this was that a decision was taken in September 2017 to cease the sale of newspapers. Subsequently, a joint venture was entered into with Sugar & Spice, a well established international food, giftware and Moroccan furniture shop in Competa, to move the food part of their business to the premises of Todo Papel. As a result Todo Papel now sells hundreds of lines of international food product including many well known brands,  Asian cooking spices and sauces, baking products and many frozen food items.

In addition to the food Todo Papel have kept some of their original product items such as a wide variety of greetings cards, gift wrap and bags, stationery, 2nd hand book exchange and their very successful PO Box business. (Buzones – see separate page on this site) In addition they still stock seasonal items such as Christmas cards, Christmas wrap, diaries and calendars.

Being in the centre of the village the owners, Alick and Debbie, are an excellent source of information and advice about the surrounding area and tend to be a focal point for tourists, locals and new arrivals who have decided to settle in the area. It is often said that Todo Papel is more than just a local shop.
